Fulham's Dimitar Berbatov eyes acting career after retirement

Dimitar Berbatov reveals that he wants to move into the film industry when he retires from football.

Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that he wants to embark on an acting career when he retires from football.

The Fulham forward, who is currently on loan at Monaco, has claimed that he wants to emulate Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, who now works in the film industry.

"To have a comparison with Eric Cantona is not fair because he was a great player for Manchester United – the goals he scored, the way he put his collar – he was really cool," Berbatov told Monaco TV.

"And then he goes to movies and I am a big fan of movies as well, so when I finish with football I will definitely try to be part of some movie, I will definitely do that, I think I would be good at movies."

Berbatov, who has revealed an artistic flair by previously posting his drawings of celebrities online, spent four years at Old Trafford before signing for Fulham.
