AC Milan's Mario Balotelli: 'I was upset living in Manchester'

Mario Balotelli says that Manchester as a city is 'not nice' following his stint at Manchester City before signing for AC Milan.

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has revealed that he was "upset" living in the North-West of England because Manchester is 'not a nice city'.

The Italy international lived in the UK from 2010 until January of this year when he decided to leave Manchester City for the San Siro.

While Balotelli has claimed that his former club and supporters are "amazing", the controversial 23-year-old has suggested that he has no plans to return to the city any time soon.

"I'm sorry, the city wasn't that nice," Balotelli told Sports Illustrated. "I was all the time at home, and I didn't enjoy it. It was raining all the time. I was a little bit upset."

Balotelli's comments come from part of the interview that didn't make it into the issue.
