Ashley McKenzie targeting gold at Commonwealth Games

Ashley McKenzie declares that he will not settle for "anything other than gold" as he gets his Commonwealth Games judo campaign underway.

Team England judo hopeful Ashley McKenzie has declared that he will not settle for "anything other than gold" at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The 24-year-old, who represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics, has targeted top spot to add to his European Championship and World Cup medals.

"I ain't settling for anything other than gold," BBC Sport quotes McKenzie as saying. "There's no other medal I want.

"Things are going really, really good for me right now. This has come at the right time. It should be my day."

McKenzie begins his Commonwealths campaign in Glasgow later today.
