Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel dominates the practice sessions ahead of tomorrow's US Grand Prix by securing the fastest time in the third practice.

Sebastian Vettel has dominated the practice sessions ahead of tomorrow's US Grand Prix by clocking the fastest time in the third and final session.

The Red Bull driver has maintained his stronghold on the timesheets, with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton emerging as his closest challenger after finishing second in the third practice in Austin, Texas.

Despite his dominance, Vettel's times in all three sessions have been whittled down from 1.4 seconds in the first, 0.7 in the second and 0.2 in today's practice.

Meanwhile, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, who is currently 10 points behind Vettel in the drivers' standings, clocked the fourth-quickest time.
