Lewis Hamilton quickest in second practice in Australia

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton records the fastest time in the second practice session ahead of Sunday's Australian Grand Prix.

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has recorded the fastest time during the second practice session ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.

Hamilton, who failed to post a time in the first session because of an oil problem, was marginally quicker than teammate Nico Rosberg.

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was third quickest, while world champion Sebastian Vettel gave encouragement to his Red Bull team by finishing in fourth position.

McLaren's Jenson Button followed up his second place in the opening session with a fifth this time around, while Daniel Ricciardo ended a solid day in sixth.
