Lewis Hamilton will reportedly end his long-term association with Mercedes to move to Ferrari in 2025.
The Englishman - a seven-time world champion - has represented Mercedes since 2013, claiming six world crowns for the team between 2014 and 2020.
However, after agonisingly missing out on an eighth Drivers Championship in 2021, Hamilton has only been able to finish in sixth and third respectively over the past two years.
Despite now being 39 years of age and still being motivated to challenge Red Bull's Max Verstappen at the top of the sport, Hamilton has rarely given any indication that he would be prepared to depart Mercedes.
Nevertheless, according to the Daily Mail and subsequently reported elsewhere, Hamilton is on the brink of signing a contract with Ferrari.

As it stands, neither team have commented on the potential move, with negotiations yet to be officially concluded and preparations currently taking place ahead of the 2024 campaign.
That said, it is alleged that talks could be concluded by the end of the week, with an announcement expected to be made in due course.
Ferrari reportedly intend to partner Hamilton with Charles Leclerc in a move that would see Carlos Sainz Jr depart the Italian manufacturer.
The Spaniard has posted race wins in each of the last two seasons, prevailing at the 2022 British Grand Prix and 2023 Singapore Grand Prix respectively.
Last season proved to be his worst in terms of placing in the Drivers' Standings in five years, though, with the 29-year-old finishing in seventh position in the rankings after posting just three podiums.
Eddie Irvine was the last British driver to drive for Ferrari in Formula 1, with the Northern Irishman spending four years with the team between 1996 and 1999.
