Chief executive Jez Moxey is adamant that Leigh Griffiths will be a Wolverhampton Wanderers player next season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers chief executive Jez Moxey has insisted that Leigh Griffiths will be part of the club's playing squad for next season.

The 22-year-old has spent the entire campaign on loan with Scottish Premier League side Hibernian and he recently confirmed that he would strongly consider an offer to remain at Easter Road.

However, when asked about the striker's situation by the Express & Star, Moxey replied: "Leigh is coming back to us this summer, I can assure you of that. These issues have been discussed."

Earlier today Griffiths was named in the Scotland senior squad for next month's World Cup qualifier against Croatia.
