Robert Green to rejoin West Ham United in swap deal?

West Ham United are reportedly keen on re-signing former goalkeeper Robert Green from Queens Park Rangers in a deal which could see Darren Randolph move the other way.

West Ham United are reportedly close to re-signing Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Robert Green in a deal which could see Hammers keeper Darren Randolph move the other way.

Green spent six years at Upton Park between 2006 and 2012 before leaving for Loftus Road, and speculation has claimed that the former England international has been keen on a return to the club.

The Mirror reports that the 35-year-old has already agreed terms with West Ham and that the Hammers' reserve stopper Darren Randolph could head for QPR in exchange.

The report suggests that the Premier League side were trying to push through the deal by noon on Friday in an attempt to have Green eligible to deputise for the suspended Adrian against Bournemouth tomorrow.

Adrian will miss the next three games after being sent off for a challenge on Jamie Vardy last weekend, but with no deal for Green completed as yet it will be left to Randolph to replace the Spaniard.
