West Ham United's Stewart Downing "disappointed" not to get all three points

Stewart Downing admits that he and his West Ham United teammates are a "little disappointed" not have secured a victory over Hull City.

West Ham United winger Stewart Downing has admitted that he and his teammates are "disappointed" not to have secured all three points against Hull City.

The Hammers came from behind twice to seal a 2-2 draw at the KC Stadium on Monday evening following an impressive strike from summer signing Enner Valencia.

"We're a little disappointed we didn't come away with the three points in the end, but going behind twice, I think you've got to accept the point," Downing told the club's official website.

"We conceded two sloppy goals and that's been a little bit of a downfall for us recently, so we need to sharpen up on that, but overall the football we played was really good. At times we passed them off the park.

"It was an unbelievable strike from Enner for our first goal. We've seen him do that in training and we keep telling him to keep shooting. That's a big goal for him, to get his first out of the way."

West Ham have recorded one victory, one draw and two defeats in the Premier League this season so far.
