Goalkeeper Ruud Boffin leaves West Ham United by mutual consent.

Ruud Boffin has parted company with Championship side West Ham United by mutual consent.

The 24-year-old has struggled for regular starting action this season, having been forced to settle for long spells on the bench behind Robert Green.

As a result, both parties have decided that it would be best if the goalkeeper moved on.

"West Ham United would like to thank Ruud for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future," read a statement on the club's official website.

Boffin joined the Hammers in 2010.
