West Bromwich Albion are reportedly close to sealing the loan signing of Espanyol striker Thievy Bifouma.

Espanyol striker Thievy Bifouma is reportedly close to completing a move to West Bromwich Albion.

The Baggies have recently been taken over by former Real Betis manager Pepe Mel, and the Spanish coach appears ready to return to his homeland to strengthen West Brom's attacking ranks.

According to BBC WM, reports from Spain have indicated that Bifouma is flying to England to complete a loan deal at The Hawthorns.

The 21-year-old French forward has scored three times in 11 appearances in La Liga during the current campaign.
