On-loan Benfica attacker Rodrigo Moreno hopes that his summer move to Valencia can help him break into Spain's senior squad.

Rodrigo Moreno is hopeful that his summer move to Valencia can help him break into the Spain squad.

The highly-rated attacker is currently on loan at the Mestalla from Benfica, where he scored 45 times in three seasons.

"I wanted to return to Spain, which is also important for the national team," he told A Bola.

"I will have greater visibility for that. The national team is a great goal but first I want to do well with Valencia."

The 23-year-old is yet to appear for his senior national team, but impressed with 15 goals in 16 games for the Spanish Under-21 side.
