Swindon Town announce Wes Thomas loan

Birmingham City forward Wes Thomas joins Swindon Town on loan until January.

The 28-year-old struggled for first-team chances last term, starting just nine Championship outings, but has started none as of yet this season.

Thomas, who has scored four times in 33 league outings for the Blues, has now joined the Robins on a four-month loan.

He joined City from Rotherham United in 2013, and netted five times in 13 League One outings en route to helping them to promotion.
