Angel Rangel: 'Home form vital for Swansea City'

Angel Rangel believes that Swansea will stay in the Premier League if they take points from their home games.

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has claimed that the team's home form is vital to their chances of Premier League survival this season.

The 15th-placed Swans are currently six points above the drop zone following last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Hull City.

With three of their final five matches at the Liberty Stadium, Rangel believes that Swansea have a good chance of remaining in the top flight.

"We can win games, especially down the Liberty, where we've got three left," the Spaniard told the South Wales Evening Post.

"We have a gap above the relegation zone, it's not a lot, and we have to work hard until the end of the season.

"It's going to be vital to get some points at the Liberty. Those games are going to be very important."

Swansea return to action on Sunday when they host Chelsea in the Premier League.
