Ashley Williams: 'Jefferson Montero is almost unplayable'

Ashley Williams believes that Swansea City are always confident of creating chances with Jefferson Montero on the pitch.

Ashley Williams has claimed that Swansea City will always create chances with Jefferson Montero on the pitch.

Montero impressed against Branislav Ivanovic as Swansea earned a 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Saturday, and Williams believes that any defender will find it difficult to stop the Ecuadorian winger.

"Jeff has come back on fire," the Welsh defender told reporters. "He has been almost unplayable.

"He was playing against one of the best right-backs in the league if not one of the best in the sport. He went past him a lot and it is not easy to do that against Ivanovic.

"With Jeff on the field we feel we feel we can score at any moment, that he is going to set-up something, and he is going to be looking to maintain that level of performance."

Swansea host Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
