Wayne Rooney has been included in Manchester United's starting lineup for this evening's Premier League clash at Sunderland.

The England forward missed Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League with a shin injury.

Rooney returns to the side as manager David Moyes makes four changes. Nani, Phil Jones and Adnan Januzaj also come back into the first XI.

Meanwhile, Sunderland boss Kevin Ball brings Ondrej Celustka and Valentin Roberge into the fold.
