Marco van Ginkel has claimed that there is more to come from him after a frustrating start to his Stoke City career.
The Dutch midfielder, who joined on loan from Chelsea in the summer, has started all five of Stoke's Premier League games, but the Potters are still without a win after extending their disappointing run with a 2-0 loss to Arsenal last weekend.
However, Van Ginkel is confident that both he and the team will improve soon as they aim to pull away from the bottom of the table.
"I think I will develop as the season goes on, like the team. We've had some tough games. I think we've mostly played ok although we were all disappointed with the performance at Arsenal," he is quoted as saying by the Stoke Sentinel.
"The Premier League is more intense with higher pressure on the ball and everything is a bit harder.
"I am enjoying it, but I want to win some games so I can enjoy it even more. It's good to play regularly, but of course I want to be important and win games with the team."
Stoke will continue their search for a first win when Leicester City visit the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
