Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama.
The 24-year-old has been a key member of the Saints side since joining from Celtic in 2013, making 66 appearances.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was in charge of Southampton when the Kenyan international arrived at the club.
According to the Daily Mail, Pochettino is looking to strengthen in defensive midfield and he sees Wanyama as a player who can fill that role.
The Argentine has used several different players in that position at White Hart Lane, including Ryan Mason, Paulinho and Nabil Bentaleb.
