Tottenham Hotspur injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League meeting with Bournemouth on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur have to put their Champions League disappointment to one side as they face a big match against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Lilywhites suffered a 1-0 loss to Ajax in the first leg of their semi-final on Tuesday, making it four defeats in their last five matches in all competitions.

Mauricio Pochettino's injury-hit side cannot afford to feel sorry for themselves, however, as they can wrap up a top-four finish this weekend with all three points on the south coast.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Spurs ahead of the match with Bournemouth.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Kane sustained ankle ligament damage against Manchester City last month and is only likely to play again this season if Spurs make the final of the Champions League.

Jan Vertonghen

Status: Out
Type of injury: Concussion
Possible return date: April 8 (vs. Ajax)

Vertonghen was forced off the field in the first half of the midweek loss to former club Ajax after suffering a sickening clash of heads with teammate Toby Alderweireld. The centre-back was worryingly allowed to play on for another minute or so, but as per concussion rules he is facing a spell on the sidelines.

Harry Winks

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

The England international announced earlier this week that he has undergone surgery on his groin to rectify a troublesome issue. With a maximum of five more games for Tottenham to play, Winks is facing a race against time to feature again this term.

Erik Lamela

Lamela has not featured since the start of March, despite the Argentine having returned to the training pitch last month. Pochettino will monitor the playmaker ahead of Saturday's meeting with Bournemouth.

Serge Aurier

Like Lamela, Aurier is currently being assessed ahead of a potential return. The Ivorian is continuing his rehabilitation on the training pitch.
