Spurs keeper Brad Friedel believes that his side can grind out wins after their 3-1 triumph at Fulham.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel believes that his side can "do the dirty stuff" in games after their 3-1 win against Fulham.

The American put in a Man of the Match performance at Craven Cottage as Spurs moved up to fifth place in the Premier League table.

"Those were not bread-and-butter saves I was making, it all got a bit hectic towards the end," Friedel told Sky Sports News.

"We can do the dirty stuff in games, the 'roll your sleeves up' stuff, and we proved that in this game. Everyone knows we can play but you have to be able to do the dirty stuff as well and we showed we are capable of that."

Harry Redknapp's side next host Aston Villa in the Premier League after the international break.
