Video: Benoit Assou-Ekotto: 'I don't socialise with footballers'

Watch video footage of Benoit Assou-Ekotto discussing African footballers and how they settle into the Premier League.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto's Cameroon may not have qualified for this year's Africa Cup of Nations, but the Tottenham Hotspur full-back is still one of the most high profile players to have emerged from the continent over the last few years.

While Assou-Ekotto is not competing in South Africa, he has given an interview to TRACE Sports as part of their Vuvuzela Month to celebrate the tournament.

The interview, which you can see a preview of below, focuses on why he doesn't socialise with footballers and why African players are quick to adapt to the Premier League.

As part of their African Cup of Nations coverage, tune in to TRACE Sports (Sky channel 442) tonight at 9pm to watch the full Benoit Assou-Ekotto interview in Missing in Action. The programme will also feature an exclusive interview with Everton superstar Steven Pienaar, as he talks about his career and why he decided to retire from International football. www.trace.tv/en/sports.
