Hibernian sign Southampton striker

Scott Sinclair's younger brother Jake leaves Southampton to join Hibernian on a season-long loan deal.

Southampton striker Jake Sinclair has joined Hibernian on a season-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old has risen through the academy at the St Mary's Stadium and he made his senior debut in the League Cup last season.

"I'm really impressed by everything at the club and it's great to be here – now I can't wait to get started," he told the club's official website.

"My Under-21s coach at Southampton told me about the possibility about moving to Hibs on loan on Friday and, as soon as I heard about it, I jumped at the chance."

Sinclair is the younger brother of Manchester City winger Scott.
