Shrewsbury Town boss Graham Turner confirms that Jermaine Grandison will visit a hip specialist this week.

Shrewsbury Town boss Graham Turner has revealed that Jermaine Grandison will visit a specialist this week to determine to extent of a hip problem.

The 22-year-old, who has made just one appearance for the club in 2013, has suffered with the problem since the beginning of the season.

Turner told the club's official website: "Jermaine's going to see a specialist again towards the end of the week so we'll see what the prognosis is.

"The specialist is going to have a look at it and we'll see what he advises, whether surgery is necessary."

Grandison's return date has not yet been revealed.
