A report claims that Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez will start for Spain in their World Cup qualifier with Georgia on Tuesday.

Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez will reportedly start for Spain in their World Cup qualifier with Georgia on Tuesday evening.

According to reports in Spain, there are fitness concerns over Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique, who both sat out a training session on Sunday evening with muscular injuries.

Ramos is expected to recover but Pique could miss out, therefore opening the door for Martinez to make just his second appearance for the national team.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid right-back Juanfran is expected to come into the starting lineup at the expense of Real Madrid's Alvaro Arbeloa, who is another injury concern.
