Karim Benzema admits that Spain are "the best team in the world" but is confident that France can beat them in Madrid on Tuesday.

France international striker Karim Benzema has insisted that Spain are not unbeatable.

The two sides will face each other in a 2014 World Cup qualifier at the Vicente Calderon in Madrid on Tuesday.

"They are the best team in the world - they've won everything there is to win," said Benzema.

"I play with a lot of international players at [Real] Madrid, so I know what quality is.

"Having said that, I don't think they are unbeatable, this is not mission impossible. It's still 11 against 11."

Both Spain and France have won their opening two qualifiers in Group I.
