Zinedine Zidane questions Gareth Bale's commitment to Real Madrid following the Welsh forward's latest disappointing showing.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he "does not know" if Gareth Bale is focused on playing for the Spanish giants.

The 29-year-old, strongly linked with a return to the Premier League this summer, produced another below-par display in Madrid's embarrassing 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Spanish outlet Marca has reported that the Wales international was the only member of Los Blancos' squad not to get on the team coach after the match, instead travelling separately to the airport to board a private flight.

Asked if he got a committed display from Bale at the Estadio de Vallecas, Zidane told reporters: "I do not know if he's focused on Madrid."

Bale will reportedly be offered to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United as part of a swap deal for one of Christian Eriksen or Paul Pogba.
