Benfica coach Jorge Jesus confirms that he is interested in bringing Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao back to the Portuguese club this summer.

Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has revealed that he hopes to bring Fabio Coentrao back to the club.

The 25-year-old left the Portuguese side to join Real Madrid in July 2011, but his future is uncertain after he failed to oust Marcelo in his preferred left-back position last season.

"I would really like to have Coentrao," Jesus told Marca. "Fabio is a player that the fans love and we all got him to grow when few believed in him."

Coentrao made just 16 appearances in La Liga for Real Madrid last season.
