Laurent Blanc targets title on Sunday

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Laurent Blanc believes that his side are motivated to win the Ligue 1 title on Sunday.

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Laurent Blanc has admitted that his side are extra motivated for Sunday's away clash against Sochaux due to the fact that they can wrap up the Ligue 1 title.

Blanc's side will be confirmed as champions with a win against Sochaux, and he said that they should manage to win if they play better than they did in the 1-0 victory over Evian TG.

"If we start the same way we did against Evian, then we will find ourselves in big trouble," he told PSG's official website. "We have a lot of respect for this Sochaux side, like for every team in Ligue 1. They will be looking to cause us problems, but if we play to our potential, we should win on Sunday.

"The players are extremely motivated by the idea of winning the title this Sunday. We have won some easy matches this season, and we have also won some hard-fought ones.

"The championship is a competition that lasts nine months and you have to show incredible consistency to win it. It will be a fantastic achievement to win it."

PSG are currently seven points ahead of Monaco.
