Preston North End loan Neil Kilkenny from Bristol City

Preston North End complete the loan signing of Bristol City midfielder Neil Kilkenny.

Bristol City midfielder Neil Kilkenny has completed a move to Preston North End until January.

Kilkenny has made just five appearances for Bristol City during this campaign, and the Australia international is happy to be reunited with his former boss Simon Grayson, whom he played under at Leeds United.

The 27-year-old told BBC Radio Lancashire: "I want to get out and play now. The team is doing well here and I'm happy to help.

"I don't have a long-term plan, I just want to help the manager and the club do really well."

Kilkenny has also been given permission to play for Preston in the FA Cup.
