Alan Archibald frustrated by draw

Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald reveals his frustration with his side's goalless draw against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald has revealed his frustration with his side's goalless draw against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Boxing Day.

Archibald's men are yet to win at home in the Scottish Premiership this season, but could have done so had Steven Lawless and Kallum Higginbotham taken their chances in the game.

"It's just not happening, we are hitting things too well, we could do with a sclaff or an own goal, something like that," said the manager, according to Sky Sports News.

"It looks like that's what it needs because the chances today, especially the two in the six-yard box in the second half, were gilt-edged chances. But we will take the positives from it. We played some good stuff against a very good Inverness side.

"The boys aren't too downhearted. As much as we are desperate to win at home and get the monkey off our back, we take the positives and move on to Motherwell on Sunday."

Thistle currently sit in 10th place in the league table.
