Parma come from a goal down to defeat Roma 3-2 at home despite finishing the game with 10 men.

Parma have maintained their impressive start to the Serie A campaign with a 3-2 victory over Roma at home.

The visitors took just eight minutes to break the deadlock, as Erik Lamela shot home from the right side of the box.

Two minutes later Lamela teed up Francesco Totti for a shot from outside the box, but it was saved by Antonio Mirante between the Parma posts.

Parma created two chances in quick succession thereafter, first Aleandro Rosi shooting off target and then Jonathan Biabiany heading just wide from close range.

The hosts eventually equalised in the 34th minute when Ishak Belfodil found the target from inside the Roma box.

Three minutes later Marco Parolo turned in Belfodil's cross to make it 2-1 to Parma.

Totti and Michael Bradley tested Mirante with right-footed shots before Pablo Osvaldo's attempt from distance went wide.

Midway through the second half Parma went 3-1 up at home, thanks to a Cristian Zaccardo shot from close range.

However, Totti brought Roma back into the match in the 71st minute with a left-footed finish from the centre of the Parma box.

Belfodil's dismissal with five minutes left on the clock gave the visitors some extra hope, but ultimately made little difference.
