Roma defender Ashley Cole confident of Serie A title triumph

Roma defender Ashley Cole is confident that he and his teammates can topple Juventus and win this season's Serie A title.

Roma defender Ashley Cole has claimed that the team can end Juventus's dominance and win the Serie A title this season.

The Giallorossi currently sit in second place in the table, three points behind the defending champions.

Cole believes that he and his teammates have the right blend of talent and nous to topple Juve and clinch the club's first Scudetto since 2001.

"Roma can definitely win the Scudetto," the former Chelsea full-back told Sky Sports News. "We have some very talented players and we have the right mentality. We are high on confidence."

Roma resume their bid for the Serie A title on November 22 when they host Atalanta BC.
