Steve McClaren expects Newcastle United sack tomorrow?

A report claims that Steve McClaren will lose his job as Newcastle United head coach during a meeting tomorrow afternoon.

Steve McClaren has reportedly informed close associates that he will be relieved of his duties as Newcastle United head coach tomorrow.

The writing has appeared to be on the wall for McClaren following Saturday's 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Bournemouth, which has left the Magpies deep in relegation trouble.

According to The Telegraph, the 54-year-old has since been summoned to a meeting on Tuesday afternoon.

The report adds that the former England boss is now convinced that his sacking will then be rubber-stamped.

McClaren only took charge at St James' Park last summer, but the team has won just six Premier League matches under his guidance.
