Netherlands hitman Robin van Persie says that he is loving playing with teammate Arjen Robben in the World Cup.

Robin van Persie has revealed that he loves playing alongside teammate Arjen Robben for the Netherlands in the World Cup.

The duo have struck six goals - three apiece - in helping the Oranje reach the last-16 stage with a Group B game to spare.

"Arjen is a fantastic footballer and I love playing with him," he told reporters.

"For us, it's a little more difficult, because we both have a more central role to play, but it works because we have scored six times and hopefully we can continue in that fashion."

Louis van Gaal's side resume their campaign by facing already-qualified Chile on Monday in a game which will determine who finishes top of the group.
