Bolo Zenden expects Danny Blind stay, sees Ronald Koeman as future Holland coach

Former Netherlands player Bolo Zenden thinks that Danny Blind should remain as head coach of the Oranje, and that Ronald Koeman will one day manage the national side.

Former Netherlands player Bolo Zenden has said that he expects the country's current head coach, Danny Blind, to remain in charge despite Holland's failure to qualify for the 2016 Euro Championships.

Zenden also believes that Southampton manager Ronald Koeman will be a future head coach of the Oranje.

"I guess Danny Blind will stay on because he took over in a bad moment and what signal do you give if you change the manager again? The other thing is, if the manager has been changed then the person who put him in charge will have to move on as well because of the mistakes he has made along the way," Zenden told Omnisport.

"He is not going to move, so the manager does not move. There has to be change not just within the camp [but] above the coach and above the people in charge, from the highest level at the Dutch FA.

"The name of Ronald Koeman has been mentioned, but he's not going to move now. I don't think this is the time to try and get Ronald Koeman in. He will probably [be one for the job] in the future."

Koeman stated this week that he will not be leaving the Saints anytime soon.
