Shaun Hutchinson to return for Motherwell in time for Champions League

Motherwell's Shaun Hutchinson should be fit for the Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos.

Injured centre-back Shaun Hutchinson should be fit to play for Motherwell in tomorrow's friendly against Hamilton.

Hutchinson had a persistent groin injury for the last few months of last season, but manager Stuart McCall thinks that he should be able to play some part in tomorrow's friendly before the Champions League qualifying fixture against Panathinaikos a week later.

"Hopefully Shaun Hutchinson and Bob McHugh will get a part of the game," McCall told MFCTV.

"They both came through training today unscathed so we'll be looking for them to kick on."

Motherwell are in the third qualifying round for the Champions League after Rangers' collapse.
