Millwall's Steve Lomas remains upbeat

New Millwall boss Steve Lomas remains positive despite the club's poor start to the Championship season.

New Millwall boss Steve Lomas has insisted that he is "enjoying" his time at the club despite a poor start to the Championship season.

The Lions have lost each of their three league matches this season, failing to score in the process, a run of form that has left them bottom of the division.

"I am enjoying my time here. I could have stayed up in Scotland and settled there. But I wanted to come here and test myself and this is a real test," Lomas told PA.

"I am enjoying it, as perverse as that may seem, but you have to take stock when things aren't going well.

"I thought we kept going right to the very end, it gives me heart that the lads are going every step of the way. I'm sure if we keep performing like that we'll get our rewards."

Next up for Millwall is a trip to Sheffield Wednesday next weekend.
