Friday's Primeira Liga predictions including Famalicao vs. Vitoria de Guimaraes

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Friday's Primeira Liga fixtures - Maritimo vs. Moreirense and Famalicao vs. Vitoria de Guimaraes.

Maritimo and Moreirense get round eight of the Portuguese Primeira Liga underway when they face off at the Estadio do Maritimo on Friday.

Having lost in both home and away fixtures last season, Maritimo will head into the game seeking to get one over the visitors and get their campaign up and running.

We say: Maritimo 1-2 Moreirense

After escaping relegation by the skin of their teeth last season, Maritimo have kicked off the new campaign on a poor note and will need to up the ante and strengthen their position on the log. Moreirense, meanwhile, head into the game off the back of a morale-boosting victory over Arouca. We anticipate the visitors will carry on the momentum from that game and claim a narrow win over their hosts.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Famalicao vs. Guimaraes (Friday, 9.15pm)

Seeking to bounce back from their respective defeats last weekend, Famalicao and Vitoria de Guimaraes lock horns at the Estadio Municipal de Famalicao on Friday.

Both sides, who are separated by four points in the bottom half of the Primeira Liga table, have endured an underwhelming start to the campaign and will head into the game aiming to get their season up and running with all three points.

We say: Famalicao 1-1 Vitoria de Guimaraes

Famalicao will need to turn a corner over the coming weeks following their disappointing start to the season. Despite their poor form in comparison to Vitoria's, we expect a cagey contest between the two sides. We predict the hosts will set up a defensive block to avoid falling to a fifth defeat and force a share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
