Man United are reportedly set to walk away from a potential deal for Ajax winger Antony, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to end their pursuit of Ajax winger Antony.

The Red Devils have added Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez to their squad this summer, but they are still keen to make further additions.

Antony has been one of the names linked with a move to Old Trafford in the current transfer window, although Ajax recently raised their asking price to £84m in an attempt to ward off interest from United.

As a result, the Manchester Evening News are reporting that Man United are set to end their interest in the Brazil international.

The report suggests that the Premier League side would only consider continuing their pursuit of the 22-year-old if Ajax reduce their asking price or if the Brazilian attempts to force through a move by submitting a transfer request.

Antony - who has three years left on his contract - has scored 22 goals in 78 appearances for the Dutch champions.
