Report: Darren Fletcher to complete medical at West Bromwich Albion

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is making his way to West Bromwich Albion to complete a medical, according to reports.

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is on the verge of signing for West Bromwich Albion, according to reports.

The 30-year-old seemed poised for a switch to West Ham United last weekend, but the two parties could not agree personal terms so the deal was called off at the final hurdle.

According to BBC Sport, the Scotland captain is now making his way to The Hawthorns in order to complete a medical.

Fletcher, who is out of contract in the summer, has made 12 appearances in all competitions under the management of Louis van Gaal.
