Former Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria is reportedly open to a return to the Premier League when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires next summer.

Former Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria could reportedly be set for a return to the Premier League when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires next summer.

The 30-year-old is understood to be considering leaving the Ligue 1 champions at the end of his current deal, but his wage demands are likely to limit his possible destinations.

The Mirror reports that Di Maria is holding out for a £200,000-a-week offer, and that his agents have convinced him that a return to the Premier League is a valid option.

Di Maria spent just one season with Manchester United, scoring four goals in 32 appearances across all competitions for an underwhelming return following his £59.7m switch from Real Madrid.

However, the Argentine is thought to be open to the idea of returning to England should any of the top clubs be interested and willing to meet his salary expectations.

Di Maria has also been linked with the likes of Juventus and Barcelona during his four years at PSG.
