Alexis Sanchez completes Manchester United move?

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly completed his move from Arsenal to Manchester United and is awaiting his medical.

Alexis Sanchez has effectively completed his move from Arsenal to Manchester United and is waiting at Carrington for his medical, it has been claimed.

The Chilean is thought to have agreed terms on a lucrative four-and-a-half-year contract at Old Trafford that will see him take home wages of £450,000 - in the process making him the highest-paid player ever in British football.

According to the Daily Mail, the deal between the two clubs is now complete and Sanchez is at United's training ground waiting for club doctors to put him through his medical.

The newspaper says that United's chief medical staff have been with the first team at Turf Moor this afternoon for their 1-0 victory over Burnley but will return to Carrington this evening to sign off on Sanchez and make him a United player.

Terms over the transfer, which will see Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates in return, are said to have been agreed this morning but both players were reported to have already said their respective goodbyes to teammates on Friday evening.

Both Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho remained coy on the deal in their post-match press conferences today but indicated that a formal announcement is likely to arrive imminently.
