Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic says that it could still be two more months before he is back to full fitness.

Nemanja Vidic has said that it could take two more months for him to get back to full fitness after making his return to first-team action.

The Manchester United captain came through his second game since knee surgery against West Brom yesterday, leading the Red Devils to just their fourth clean sheet of the season in a 2-0 win.

The Serbian, 31, is however refusing to get too excited about his comeback.

"The doctor is managing the games I am playing at the moment," he told MUTV.

"Over the first two or three months I have to really look at that because sometimes I might have a reaction."

Three points for United meant that they guaranteed a seven-point lead over Manchester rivals City going into the New Year.
