New Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has insisted that he will not buckle under the pressure at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman signed for the Red Devils this summer from Southampton for a reported £25m fee.
The 25-year-old is more accustomed to lower-league football having spent seven years playing for the Saints, but he has claimed that he can step up a gear now that he is at a team expected to challenge for trophies every season.
"Of course there is more expectation on you, more focus on your performance, but that doesn't scare me," The Mirror quotes Schneiderlin as saying.
"I know that I'm playing with good players, that I'm at a good club with a good structure. I can't wait to show what I can do."
The midfielder made his Premier League debut for the club in last weekend's 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
