Juan Mata dreaming of "very special" Chelsea reunion

Juan Mata admits that he cannot wait for his "very special" return to Chelsea when Manchester United visit Stamford Bridge.

In-form Manchester United ace Juan Mata has admitted that he cannot wait to face former club Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Mata, a two-time club player of the year with the Blues, is gearing up for a first return to West London since Jose Mourinho sold him for £37m last January.

The Red Devils are among the form teams in the Premier League, and the Spaniard is relishing the chance to see his teammates test themselves against the runaway leaders.

"We are already thinking about our next 'final', a visit to the leader of the Premier League," Mata, who has four goals in his last eight United outings, wrote on his blog.

"Needless to say that it's going to be a very special game for me.

"I already played against Chelsea in the first half of the championship, but going back to Stamford Bridge for the first time will bring me plenty of good memories, for sure."

Mata joined the club in 2011 but ultimately fell out of favour when Mourinho returned from Real Madrid in 2013.
