Paris Saint-Germain could reportedly fire Mauricio Pochettino by March if they fail to progress in the Champions League, while he remains linked with Manchester United.

Paris-Saint Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino could be sacked by March, according to a report.

It has not been an ideal season for PSG so far, despite the fact they sit top of Ligue 1 with an 11-point gap, as they were just knocked out of the French Cup by Nice.

According to Telefoot, Pochettino's job could depend on whether or not he is able to guide PSG into the next round of the Champions League, with the club set to face Real Madrid on February 15 and March 9.

The European competition is the main goal for the French outfit this season, and should they fail to progress, Zinedine Zidane could be brought in as his replacement.

However, Pochettino is also being linked with another job, as his name has been attached to Manchester United, who will be looking for a manager once again this summer.

Ralf Rangnick is only operating in an interim role right now, which will finish at the end of this season, and the former Tottenham Hotspur boss has long since been linked to Old Trafford.
