Sir Alex Ferguson reveals that Nemanja Vidic is not yet ready to make the starting lineup against Swansea City this Sunday.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that club captain Nemanja Vidic may not be ready to start the game against Swansea City on Sunday.

The defender returned from three months out with a knee injury as a substitute in the 3-1 win over Sunderland at Old Trafford last Saturday.

However, despite making his comeback, Ferguson admitted that he may not be ready to make a start just yet.

"Vidic might not be ready to start," the Scot told reporters.

"Vida is doing great in training, it's just a matter of picking the time to bring him back."

Vidic spent the majority of last season out with a knee ligament injury.
