Rio Ferdinand rubbishes rumours that Manchester United teammate Ravel Morrison stole his watch.

Rio Ferdinand has rubbished reports that Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison stole his watch.

Morrison, 18, had pleaded with Ferdinand on Twitter to confirm that the rumour wasn't true.

"@RavelMorrison49 whoever saying you nicked a watch from training that was mine is talking rubbish...see you at training monday. #StayFocused," Ferdinand tweeted.

Morrison was the recent subject of a failed bid by Newcastle United.
