Memphis Depay delighted with first Manchester United goal

Manchester United forward Memphis Depay reveals his delight after scoring his first goal for the club in Tuesday's pre-season friendly against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Memphis Depay has vowed to hit the goal trail for Manchester United after opening his account in Tuesday's pre-season friendly against the San Jose Earthquakes.

The 21-year-old, who moved to the Premier League side from PSV Eindhoven this summer, scored United's second in their 3-1 victory over the MLS outfit.

"It's a great feeling," he told MUTV. "I'm a striker or attacking midfielder so it's always nice to score goals and give assists. Today was my first one and, I think, the first of many so I keep working on it."

Depay once again played the first 45 minutes of United's pre-season friendly in a supportive role to lone forward Wayne Rooney.
