Miralem Pjanic says that he has no wish to leave Roma for Manchester City at the end of the season.

Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has said that he is not looking to join Manchester City in the summer.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League champions, with his Bosnian compatriot Edin Dzeko having reportedly told City officials that signing the former Metz man would be a good idea.

"It is nice to hear that Edin has spoken well of me, but I have a contract here," he told Mediaset.

"Perhaps one day we'll get the opportunity to play in the same club side, but, for now, I'm proud to be able to wear this shirt."

Pjanic joined Roma from Lyon in 2011.
